The winners of the 31st What House? Awards - for the best new homes in Britain - were announced at a gala lunch in London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday 16th November. Entries from every corner of the UK had been independently judged by a panel of property experts, culminating in the most prestigious event in the housebuilding calendar, hosted this year by actor James Nesbitt in front of 1,400 senior property industry figures. Caterham based Croudace Homes were delighted to win a Bronze award in one of the most highly contested categories, Best Medium Housebuilder, where all aspects of a company's activities are assessed. Russell Denness, Managing Director of Croudace Homes, said: "Having the quality of our product and service recognised by our industry is extremely satisfying. We strive to achieve the very highest standards and are delighted that the efforts of everyone at Croudace and those who work with us have been rewarded with one of the most respected symbols of distinction." Rupert Bates, Editorial Director of Whathouse.co.uk, said: "The standard this year across all categories has been arguably the best in the 31-year history of these coveted Awards. From volume housebuilders committed to a culture of excellence through every site and every discipline, to niche developers producing some sensational cutting-edge products, the very best of housebuilding was on show." |
