This family business is run by Brian Steer, who has worked in car audio for 35 years, and his son Brian Jnr.

The pair share a wealth of expertise in car audio, vehicle security and in-car multi-media such as screens, radio, DAB and Ipod and USB connections. Brian Jnr. said: "Car audio is only part of what we do.

We can do installations that are personalised according to the customer's needs - for example we can put a workbench and power supply into the back of a builder's van for him. We have customers of all ages, both men and women, coming in to buy some sort of thing for their cars."

In-car entertainment is hugely popular and Brian Car Sounds sell a range of flip-out and double-dinscreens for DVDs and/or satellite navigation. They also sell roofmount or headrest screens for children's entertainment in the rear of the car as well as games consoles.

Brian Snr. said: "We can do a lot of modifications to vehicles for our customers. People who have a great sound system at home can have the same in their car by buyng the the right product and getting the best advice. We can create the music in your car just how the artist intended it to sound."
