Most ladies like to treat themselves to a new garment or two for the festive season but it is also the perfect time to enjoy a beauty treatment as well.

We all like to look our best for Christmas and after my visit to Surrey Skin and Laser Clinic recently I felt confident that my skin was looking more healthy and glowing.

The Clinic in Limpsfield High Street, is easy to find and I could park outside the door. On arrival I was offered a cup of coffee and asked to complete a questionnaire about my general health. Sarah Slade, the co-owner of the Clinic discussed my requirements with me and explained the different procedures available. Sarah and her business partner Rosie are both highly experienced State Registered Nurses as the treatments at the Clinic are medical procedures.

As it was my first visit, Sarah recommended I have a DermaQuest Mango skin tightening peel because the friut acids and lactic acid in the mango pulp will even and brighten my skin tone. After removing my makeup and cleansing my skin, Sarah applied the treatment, consisting of mango pulp and orange stem cells and left it to work its magic. The whole procedure was very relaxing. The mango pulp felt cool and refreshing and slightly tingly. Sarah said that the tingling sensation was the effect of the lactic acid in the pulp increasing the hydration of my skin. After removing the peel Sarah applied an antioxidant soothing serum to calm my skin.

The whole procedure took about half an hour and Sarah recommended I did not reapply my make-up for the rest of the day.

In the days that followed the treatment I could feel the difference, with my skin feeling much softer and with a lasting, healthy glow.
