The Arc in Caterham-on-the-Hill has welcomed thousands of visitors through its doors since reopening in February 2010. Now the team at The Arc have teamed up with Heavy Pencil Training to offer businesses and corporate clients the chance to see what they can offer their company.

Heavy Pencil Training Ltd is headed by Susanna Klemm and David Rowan. They specialise in providing creative approaches to training utilizing drama-based training techniques as used on projects for such companies as Leaseplan, Lambeth Council, The GLA and Novatis Pharmaceuticals. Heavy Pencil focus on core training needs to create sessions and events that engage delegates in a fun, thought provoking way.

The Arc has numerous rooms perfect for team meetings of all sizes at competitive prices. They can also be used for entertaining clients and break out sessions.

Associate Director of The Arc, Andy Edmeads, said:  "We've been bowled over by the support from the local community and feedback from our soft play, classes, events and shows and now we want to go further by giving companies and businesses from the surrounding area the chance to see what we can offer them.  The Arc is a fantastic venue - one I fell in love with before I came to work here, and think it's a great place for meetings, team building, staff functions and parties and, with Heavy Pencil's skills and expertise, a fantastic place to learn and build skills".

The Arc in association with Heavy Pencil Training Ltd. is holding a free Taster Event on Tuesday 10th February 2011 9.30am to 11.30am.
