The upmarket, stylish and friendly feel of West End coffee bars has come to the heart of Caterham. On Monday, 4th April 'Coffee Bay' in Station Avenue re-opened as 'Colairo's' with an exciting new look and menu choice. The re-design took place after months of planning. Owners Paul and Lucy Colairo say they are very pleased with the outcome after all the hard work, especially with a huge input from their son Martin who designed all the artwork, website and graphics. Colairo's now offers a larger range of drinks including a great choice of delicious coffee. Prices are very competitive and all staff are Baristatrained. An extra comfy corner with leather seating forms part of the refurbishment which has proved especially popular with customers. The menu offers a selection of home-made cakes and pastries to enjoy with a coffee and also light lunches such as pasta and jacket potatoes. Many customers opt for a tasty sandwich, ciabatta or baguette, and all food is freshly made to order. One of the best features of Colairo's is the friendly service enjoyed by customers. "We know our customers here," said Paul. "We offer the personal touch - we are not just another franchise coffee shop." Colairo's is situated in the entrance lobby of Caterham Station and is open early from 5.30am on weekdays for the commuters travelling into London and open from 6.30am - 3.30pm on Saturdays. Colairo's is the perfect stop-off for local people too, offering a relaxing haven for shoppers and great place to meet friends. |
