Geraint Jenkins MBE is retiring from his teaching role at de Stafford School in Caterham this year after teaching Geography there for 32 years. Geraint is travelling to Kimilili in Africa this month to provide aid along with other members of the Caterham Overseas Aid Trust ('C.O.A.T.') and members of the Caterham community. Birthplace: Ystradgynlais, Swansea Valley. Marital Status: Single - but still hopeful. Children: None – but there are several children called 'Jenkins' in Kimilili – but nothing to do with me, honest! Cars: Rover 25. Pets: I used to have a terrier called Wendy. Favourite TV show: Match of the Day. Favourite Food & Drink: Anything with custard; cold milk. Pastimes: Fundraising for de Stafford PSA and C.O.A.T. and C.H.E.C.K. Proudest moment: Receiving the MBE from Prince Charles. Most embarrassing moment: Having to ask a bus to stop in the middle of Kenya as I had a tummy upset and with no toilets for miles around.
