Marie Curie's '101 things to do before you die' campaign is asking people to consider leaving a gift in their will to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Legacy Advisor for Marie Curie, Toni Denyer, said: "Gifts in wills are vital to Marie Curie Cancer Care, they fund one in three Marie Curie Nurses. This is also a tax-efficient way of supporting the charity. You can rest assured that we will not have to pay any inheritance tax on your donation."
Every legacy, however small, helps someone with a terminal illness spend their final days in the familiar surroundings of their own homes with the people they love.
"You could leave the charity a share of your estate or a small one-off gift - just £20 will help a Marie Curie Nurse care for a terminally ill patient in their own home for an hour," explained Toni.
"We all have a wish list of things we'd like to do in our lifetime; some things are big and some are small, but there is one thing you can do that will change people's lives. After considering family and friends, leave a gift to Marie Curie Cancer Care in your will."
