Below is the latest flooding update.
1. Cleaning up Whyteleafe
Saturday 22 March Tandridge District Council staff will be removing any remaining sandbags from the front of properties. Over the next few days road signs and the portable toilets will also be taken away.
Friday 28 to Monday 31 March For residents who are able to get rid of flood damaged goods, skips are being provided from Friday 28 March to Monday 31 March.
The skips will be placed at the following locations:
§ At the side of no 95 on the grass verge behind the garages. § Outside 76/70 on the wide hard standing. § Outside 51/53 on the grass verge, at the back of the footway. § Opposite no 41 on the grass verge. For properties still affected by flooding and not able to take advantage of the skips, once gardens are dry, Tandridge District Council will provide a bulky waste service to help residents get rid of flood damaged property.

2. Flood information meetings If you have any issues or concerns about flooding please come to one of our drop in sessions in the function room at the Whyteleafe Tavern on any of the following dates:
§ Wednesday 2 April 11am-1pm § Tuesday 15 April 6pm-8pm Representatives from Tandridge District Council, Surrey County Council, the National Flood Forum and other organisations will be available.
3. A22 Godstone Road (Whyteleafe to Purley) The A22 Godstone Road is now fully re-open from Whyteleafe to Purley.
4. Woldingham Road Woldingham Road is closed from Wapses Lodge to the junction with Bug Hill, with access only to Woldingham School, the egg farm and Birchwood Kennels and Beechwood Riding Stables. There is a formal diversion via the A22, Hillbury Road, Limpsfield Road, Slines Oak Road, Halliloo Valley in place and all other local roads are open.
Full access to Woldingham Rd is not expected before May, but Surrey County Council is working on a solution to allow a single lane to be re-opened from Bug Hill to Wapses Lodge Roundabout, controlled by traffic lights by 7 April. Support local businesses Local businesses are open. Knights Garden Centre, H20 Habitat on Woldingham Road, Woldingham Village and the train station are all open as usual.
