The BangWok tuk tuk. Tony Tobin headlines at Oxted Food and Drink Festival On Saturday 21st June in Master Park in Oxted, BBC Ready Steady Cook chef and owner of The Dining Room in Reigate, Tony Tobin, will headline the new Oxted Food and Drink Festival. The vibrant street market will feature: BangWok, who are bringing the buzz, freshness and flavour of Bangkok's street food scene to Oxted from the back of their Tuk Tuk; Sausalicious will be presenting their 'Designer Dogs'; Little Blue Smokehouse’s American style BBQ food, using the freshest ingredients locally sourced; Market Grill’s succulent Surf and Turf Wraps served from an Airstream van; Reigate’s Tinderbox’s slow-roasted barbequed pulled pork with two-root slaw; The Pizza Project for Italian pizzas with authentic flavours from their wood-fired oven. Cookies Kitchen will be running children’s cookery classes at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm. There will be live cookery demonstrations including demonstrations by BBC Ready Steady Cook chef Tony Tobin who will be demonstrating how to cook a dish of barbequed scallops.
