David Gold (West Ham Chairman and well known local business man) visited Knights Garden Centre, Woldingham last Thursday to show his support for Marie Curie Cancer Care's Christmas appeal. David said: “Marie Curie Nurses make a huge difference to patients with cancer and other terminal illnesses, and their care is even more important at Christmas. So, this Christmas, turn your festive fun in to a fundraiser for Marie Curie. I would urge everyone to support this very worthy cause.” Marie Curie is looking for singers or choirs to organise their own event. We would like you to hold a carol concert, school nativity or go carol singing in aid of Marie Curie. Every song will make a real difference to families affected by terminal illness across Surrey this Christmas.
If you feel your harmonies might not be so tuneful, why not have a party, a play, a plate collection in your local church or even your own version of Come Dine with me and raise vital funds to support the 13 Marie Curie nurses who work throughout Surrey, during the season of goodwill.
