Appeal for information following robbery in Whyteleafe |

Surrey Police is appealing for information after a teenage boy was robbed in Whyteleafe.
The incident took place between 6pm and 6.20pm on Tuesday, 8th January, when the 15-year-old boy was walking near to the junction of St Luke’s Road and Godstone Road when he was approached by two other teenage boys.
A mobile phone and an Oyster card were taken during the robbery and the victim suffered concussion after being hit in the head by the offenders.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Errol Chetty from Reigate CID, said: "This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time the incident took place to contact officers with information as we need to catch those responsible.
"The area in which this incident took place is popular with commuters, especially around the time of the offence so I believe someone must have seen something which will help detectives with their investigation.”
Local officers from the Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team will be providing reassurance visits in the area and anyone who has any concerns on this incident or would like advice on personal safety is urged to contact them on 101.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released on police bail until Saturday, 2nd February while the investigation continues.
