Thank you
I would like to say a big "thank you" to the kind person who found my handbag in Townend Recreation Ground on the day of the Street Party in Caterham on 30th May and kindly handed it in to the police with all the contents inside, including my purse.

Caterham Sea Cadets would like to thank the residents of Caterham for their generosity in their recent house to house collection on 30th April, 2010. They raised £367.89 which is going towards new equipment for the unit.
Whilst writing we would like to thank everyone in Caterham and the surrounding area for their loyal support, help and good wishes in connection with the fund raising for the minibus. The unit, as many at the Carnival will have seen, has now at long last been able to purchase their minibus. We would like to say hello and thanks once again to all who came to say hello.

Street Youth Centre
You published a letter from me in September 2008 regarding lack of facilities for young people and I am so pleased there is now a youth club at 8 Godstone Road, Caterham Valley. I visited on their open day and was most impressed by the facilities. There are a number of projects available including those on the computer systems. In time there will be faciities for under 13s and the older members can have training to work with them. Local people have been involved in the design of the centre and members will continue to have plenty of input regarding their youth centre.
Thank you.
