Saturday 21st June 11am Warlingham Fair. A great day out for all the family, featuring a battling medieval re-enactment group, dancers, musical entertainment and contests to join in with. Visit the reptile tent, the children's funfair, the beer tent or barbecue. Fun dog show for your family pet. Craft marquee where local craftsmen will demonstrate their skills and offer the results for sale. The parade leaves Warlingham Green at 10.40am. Blanchman’s Farm Nature Reserve. FREE entry. 3pm and 6pm. The Wabbit King. (See 7th June entry for details.) 10am-4pm Archeological Dig. Queens Park, Caterham Hill. An all day event. There will be displays of photographs and documents and residents are invited to bring memorabilia and stories. Two talks ‘1914, Caterham & District Goes To War’ by Roger Packham and ‘The Public Schools' Battalion at Woldingham Camp’ by Jenny King will be delivered morning and afternoon. For the even more adventurous, and those who would like to find themselves caught up in the battle of Agincourt or lost in the forest with Titania, join us for a promenade version of our Smorgasbard, taking place in David Gold’s garden (or in The Arc if we are caught in a 'tempest').
