Caterham CC is determined to rise again after the recent fire at the Old Caterhamians Sports Association in Park Avenue, which destroyed our new day pavilio. The loss has been keenly felt, but our plans continue to upgrade the facilities and provide sporting facilities that may be used by local schools.
We would greatly appreciate the support of the local community. We are not asking for donations but we do need people willing to volunteer for roles in the club such as umpires, scorers, BBQ chefs, Junior Team managers, coaching assistants, marketeers, players - even a couple of hours of volunteering during the season would help us immensely.
We are happy to work with local companies to promote their discount schemes to our members. Or we can offer advertising on our website and at the ground or discounted membership facilities for those who wish to be part of our growing club. We are also organising midweek evening matches between local companies and engaging with community groups to make our facility even more accessible.
We offer cricket at all levels - Juniors from 7 to 17, soft ball and hard ball, three league teams on a Saturday, friendly matches on Sundays, Women’s matches and our recently added Masters XI for those players over 50 who would like a monthly match played in a friendly spirit.
Why not come and see what we do – Junior training on Friday nights from 6.30pm, Seniors on Tuesday nights from 6pm.
