Leafe started February attempting to overturn a one-goal deficit against Erith & Belvedere in the second leg of the Macron Cup tie. A last gasp winner for Erith & Belvedere ended Leafe's Kent Cup run, much to the delight of the Erith & Belvedere management. Leafe then stretched their impressive unbeaten run in the Kent Premier League to eleven games as Leafe dismantled Lordswood 4-0 at Church Road, scoring two goals in each half with debutant Roscoe D'Sane grabbing a brace. Leafe then travelled to Dulwich to face Fisher FC and returned with the three points, two second half goals ensuring a comfortable victory. March was always going to be a vital month and two defeats on the bounce effectively ended Leafe's faint promotion hopes. A 2- 0 loss away at mid table Cray Valley on a Tuesday night was followed by an emphatic defeat in the crunch fixture against second placed VCD Athletic who proved too strong and emerged comfortable 4-1 winners at Church Road. Two good away wins then followed the setbacks - a 5-1 win at Sevenoaks Town featuring a Paul Scott hat trick and a satisfying 3-1 win against Herne Bay based Canterbury City with a strong performance helping to keep Leafe in third place trailing leaders Erith & Belvedere by six points, having played three more games. Four consecutive home games are taking place at Church Road. Deal Town visited on Saturday, 23rd March and Rochester United on the 30th March. The two Erith sides then visit, Erith Town on Easter Monday, 1st April and then league leaders Erith & Belvedere on 13th April, all 3pm kick-offs.
